Pioneer Day and other fun stuff

This week was a fun week! I have no pictures to show for it though, because I kept forgetting my camera! If I am going to do this blog thing right, I guess I better remember my camera when I do things. On Thursday, I went to the Pioneer Day parade in Salt Lake with my mom, my sister, and some of my mom's sisters and their families. We were told we were crazy for going because their was going to be no spot to sit, too many people, and it was going to be too hot and miserable. That couldn't have been more wrong! We found the perfect spot, we had a great view, it was shady, and there was hardly any people where we were. It was a really fun parade.
Then after the parade we went and bought my first maternity clothes! They are actually really cute; the jeans i got are much cuter than any of the jeans I own now. I am at an awkward stage where my jeans are too tight, but I don't fit the maternity clothes. Being pregnant is fun! Then Bret and I spent the rest of the day with his family and we had a bbq.
Today we had our friends Megan and Ryan, Dustin and Britni, and my sister Melissa and her husband Jeff, over for dessert and games. We had a good time! We played scatagories and had cheesecake. I think Jeff ending up winning.
So I guess that is pretty much a wrap up of our week! This week we get to go to our 4 month appointment at the doctor's, so I will give you an update on that in my next post.
