IT'S A....

Boy! We are having a boy.  I very excited, but honestly I am not sure what to do! I know nothing about boys.  It will definitely be an adventure.  I had a dream the night before we went in to the ultrasound that it was a boy, so that's kind of crazy.  We were hanging out with the Ridgeways and Wagners the week before the ultrasound and we did all of those crazy tests to see if it would be a boy or a girl.  6 out of 8 of the tests said it would be a girl, guess that wasn't right! I asked the ultrasound tech how accurate she is, and she said that she has been a tech for 14 years, and only was wrong once-when it was a hermaphrodite.  So I am pretty sure we are having a boy!
If anyone knows of cute things to do for boys let me know, I have to keep stopping myself from making more bows and headbands- I don't think a little boy would appreciate that very much!

Tonight we had a Boy or Girl party to tell our friends what we are having.  We thought this would be fun since we don't live by family.  I got the idea from my cousin Megan to make a cake that is dyed either pink or blue, and you have to cut it open to find out.  It was really fun.
